Who We Are
MercyOne home care and hospice agencies are affiliated with the MercyOne health system. We are members of Trinity Health At Home, a national home care, hospice and palliative care organization serving communities throughout eleven states. As a faith-based, not-for-profit, we serve patients and families in the comfort of home, offering various home health care services. We are Medicare certified and accredited by national organizations.

Home Care
We provide care to individuals recovering from illness or surgery and help manage chronic conditions. We are committed to enhancing the overall well-being of our patients. With our own virtual care program, MercyOne home care and hospice agencies' patients benefit from 24/7 monitoring in real-time and are empowered to achieve health care goals and avoid preventable hospitalizations.
Home Infusion
Home infusion therapy involves administering medications and nutrients through a needle or catheter in your home. Our expert staff adheres to the highest nursing and pharmaceutical standards, providing compassionate care at the lowest possible cost. Serving all 99 counties in Iowa, we coordinate with your doctor to ensure your treatment plan is effectively managed at home. Our team trains you or your caregiver, oversees your therapy and monitors your progress, specializing in antibiotics, pain control, chemotherapy, nutrition, hydration and cardiac medication. Your good health is our goal.
Palliative Care
We relieve suffering and improve the quality of life for individuals facing serious illnesses. We work closely with patients, families and health care professionals to develop personalized care plans that address physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
Hospice Care
We provide specialized end-of-life care and support to individuals with terminal illnesses, focusing on pain management, symptom relief, emotional comfort and spiritual guidance. Our interdisciplinary team of experts are committed to honoring the dignity and wishes of our patients while offering compassionate support to their loved ones.
Bereavement Services
Navigating the profound period of grief after losing a loved one requires understanding, support and community. We offer free bereavement services to anyone in our communities who has lost a loved one. Our specialized grief support groups address various aspects of the grief journey. Experienced bereavement counselors provide personalized sessions and our ongoing adult grief support group fosters a supportive environment. We also host community memorial events to honor and remember loved ones we’ve lost.

Our History
Our Beginning
Our MercyOne home care and hospice agencies have a rich history of providing compassionate care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. We were established as part of the MercyOne health system focused on holistic and compassionate care.
Over the years, our agencies have expanded our services to meet the growing needs of patients requiring home-based medical care. This includes a wide range of services such as skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and social work. We have continuously evolved by adding advanced medical technologies and practices to enhance patient care and help patients achieve goals. Today, we proudly extend our compassionate care across Iowa and surrounding states, continuing our mission to support and uplift our community with the same dedication and commitment that inspired our founding.
